Anomaly Guide#16
Maximum Accumulation Offload Rail

First determine which device triggered the anomaly by examining the anomaly message on the application's computer console (within the Metalprogetti B2K/BAM/MAP application).
For Uniform Conveyor Systems running B2K
The anomaly record will contain both the CONVEYOR number as well as a POINT description which indicates the faulting device (arm, gate, etc).
For Order Assembly Systems running MAP or Storage Systems running BAM
The device ID is made up of 4 digits - the first 2 indicate the conveyor ID, the second 2 indicate the device ID. In the following examples, XX represents conveyor ID while the last 2 digits represent the device. Main conveyor anomalies will always be XX-00, extraction arm anomalies will always be XX-01 through XX-10 depending on how many arms are installed, and feedrail anomalies will always be XX-11 as demonstrated below.
Extraction anomalies will show as XX-01 up to XX-10 | Anomaly 16 Maximum Accumulation Offload Rail 01-03 = conveyor #1, arm #3
Possible Causes Checks to Perform
Extraction arm full sensor tripped legitimately Verify there isn't an excess accumulation of garments on the offload slide, and nothing is positioned under the offload rail such as a cart, z-rack, package, etc.
Extraction arm full sensor has incorrect settings Verify DIP switches 1 & 2 are in the ON position, and DIP switch 3 is in the OFF position. Both the STAB and TIME trimmers should be set somewhere around the 'noon' position. See the following 2 checks for how to precisely set.
Extraction arm full sensor reading too far Verify the arm full photocell only detects objects within 8" to 12" by placing your hand directly underneath the sensor, then slowly lower it towards the floor until the STAB light turns off. Be mindful that your hand must remain in front of the photocell beam.

If the green STAB light remains on when your hand is past 12", reduce the read distance by lowering the yellow adjustment dial next to the STAB light with a small screwdriver.

Repeat the test and make small adjustments until confident that the photocell is only able to detect the top of garments as they pass underneath on the accumulation rail.
Extraction arm full sensor tripping too quickly Verify the OUT light does not come on immediately when STAB is tripped by placing your hand directly underneath the sensor, and then observing how long before the OUT light comes on.

If the red OUT light comes on immediately or more than ~6 seconds later, adjust the time delay via the yellow adjustment dial next to the OUT light with a small screwdriver.

Repeat the test and make small adjustments until confident that the photocell is only sending a signal when garments remain underneath it for an extended period of time.
Extraction arm full sensor detecting offload rail If the STAB light and/or OUT light are not behaving as described above and adjustments do not procure the described conditions, verify the photocell is not accidentally detecting the slick rail or some other part of the machine.
